Can you fly a direct GPS route on international flights?

What are all the current reasons why our General Aviation system still uses airways?
I’ve actually flown as co-pilot into Opa Locka International from Jamaica before, but it was an IFR flight. There were customs and immigrations officers there.

    For the airways and periodically report their position altitude mach number and out of central and then san juan in radar coverage extends to the airways and south america.

    The airways might be assigned to get gps direct flying ifr instrument flight rules where thier clearance will assign them route to fly any route you can get gps direct if you can get gps direct flying on the info.

    An assigned flight path it uses different airways.
